CERTIFICATION GOTS

CANGIARI’s preference for organic and natural fabrics has allowed Cangiari to obtain the certification of “Organic Textile Products” according to the standard GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). The certification of Organic Textile Products guarantees that the Cangiari fabrics are the product of an entire production chain that operates towards safeguarding the environment, respecting the worker and the consumer. The cotton used is 100% organic, as in its cultivation pesticides are not used; dyes and other chemicals are not used during the textile production, while fully respecting the ecosystem and health of consumers. The biological fabrics are, in fact, notoriously non-toxic and hypoallergenic and take care of the skin of the wearer, or of those who comes in contact with them. Great attention is paid to working conditions in the production of Cangiari, to ensure that basic rights are respected, such as the banning of child labor, no discrimination between workers, safe working environment, freedom of association and payment of decent wages.
